A Hawaii Beach So Secret, It Doesn't Have A Name

Most people know about Oahu's amazing North Shore, the world-renowned surfing mecca, but at the westernmost end of the road (Farrington Highway) begins a wonderful level hiking trail that leads to a gorgeous golden sand beach. Park your car in the parking area but take your valuable with you: car break-ins are common. Hike west toward Kaena Point for about thirty minutes to reach Secret Beach. Don't swim here in winter, though, due to high waves and treacherous currents.
